Some football clubs have history. Notts County have more than most. This Notts County FC mug celebrates the Magpies’ remarkable heritage, famous players and memorable achievements in a striking black and white design.

Featuring the proud declaration “Notts County’s No.1 Supporter”, this football mug brings together over 160 years of club history, from the early days of organised football to unforgettable cup victories and promotion celebrations.

With references to Meadow Lane, legendary goalscorers and the familiar chant “Come On You Pies”, it’s a fitting tribute to one of English football’s most historic clubs.

A Notts County FC Mug Celebrating Over 160 Years of History

Founded in 1862, Notts County are widely recognised as the world’s oldest professional football club. That’s quite a history to celebrate, and this detailed wraparound design gives Magpies supporters plenty to reminisce about.

The artwork highlights the club’s place among the 12 founding members of the Football League in 1888, alongside the famous 1894 FA Cup triumph and the 1995 Anglo-Italian Cup victory.

Supporters will also recognise references to the club’s Second Division championships in 1897, 1914 and 1923, Third Division South titles in 1931 and 1950, and fourth-tier championship successes in 1971, 1998 and 2010.

More recent memories feature too, including the dramatic 2023 National League play-off victory and the 2026 League Two play-off success.

Club legends Les Bradd and Tommy Lawton receive their own place in the design, alongside appearances and goalscoring records that celebrate their contributions to Notts County’s history.

There’s also a tribute to Meadow Lane, the Magpies’ home since 1910, complete with a stadium illustration and references to the club’s Nottingham roots.

Finished with footballs, trophies, scarves, bunting and a traditional football boot, the black and white artwork captures the character of the club without losing that classic football feel.
