Selling your car is one of those things that you don’t regularly do during your lifetime, so when it came to me selling mine I decided to search online to see if I could find any tips or advice for selling cars, hoping that one or two good tips could help me get the best price.
Whilst searching I stumbled across a website called sellmycar.org which may solve the stress of advertising and finding a buyer willing to pay my valuation of the car.
The site is a fairly simple one, you start by entering your car registration details on their online form at the top of the page, all you need do then is provide them with some details about the condition of your car and it’s milage. Sell My Car then reply to you with their valuation, at that point you can obviously choose to accept it or not. Should you decide the offer is a fair valuation then you can schedule an appointment with them.
Of course they will inspect the car to ensure the details you provided were accurate, they will also review the documents and assuming that is all fine they’ll pay your money and complete the sale.
To be honest, the system is a great idea for anyone who doesn’t want to spend money advertising and have strangers calling your personal phone and coming around to your address and inspecting your car on the driveway, you may also be uncomfortable with strangers handing over payment.
So if you are considering selling your car, or would like some more advice, then I recommend you take a look at www.sellmycar.org and take a read of their website and what it offers.
